Mrs. Harriet Bettie Hall, widow of William T. Hall and for several years a resident of Crawfordsville is dead at her home in Rockford, Illinois. Mrs. Hall passed away Thursday morning death being caused by a complication of diseases. She had been in declining health for the past year and seriously ill the past two weeks. Mrs. Hall was born Oct 1, 1851 near Wallace, the daughter of Valentine and Celia Bowman Bruner. She was united in marriage to William T. Hall Jan 7, 1873. Mr. Hall died Oct 22, 1887. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Christian Church of this city and had spent most of her life in Fountain and Montgomery Counties. Mrs. Hall lived for awhile in PA and for the past three years had been a resident of Rockford. The surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Frank Herron of the Ridge Farm community south of Waynetown; Mrs. Mary Brom(?)way, Lula B. Hall and Zora Hall of Rockford; one son, Edgar T. Hall of Yeddo; two sisters, Mrs. Bales of Clermont and Mrs. Shaffer of Covington and three grandchildren. The body will be brought to this city over the Monon Saturdady afternoon at 1;30 and will then be taken to the home of Mrs. Herron south of Waynetown. Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2 with Rev. AC Burkhardt and Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial will be made in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
